Children in Worship

At St. Timothy, we want children and youth to be comfortable in every aspect of our community, especially worship. God put the wiggle and the giggle in your children. We embrace all of the noise and movement of the children in worship. We know that even when children seem to be doing one thing, they are paying attention and learning from everything going on around them. Children have their own table in the worship space where they can color, read, or play. We have activity bags available to keep them busy. During most services there is a children's time for those who want to come forward for a short lesson just for them. We invite our youth to get involved with worship in whatever ways they are comfortable, including reading, music, lighting candles, or working with technology.

St. Timothy Junior and Senior High Youth

Our Youth are invited to participate in all aspects of our ministry, but we know our Jr. and Sr. High youth value time spent with peers.

Confirmation Classes

Youth in the 6th – 8th grades are invited to participate in confirmation classes each Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. This program is designed to help students learn about what it looks like to live a life of faith, including an introduction to the Bible and the basics of what makes Lutherans distinct.

The program culminates in what we call “Affirmation of Baptism”. Set during a Sunday worship service, this rite is an opportunity for youth to commit to a life of faith in Christian Community.

For more information about this program, please contact the Pastor.
